Students completing 12 units or more of third-year Computer Science subjects, and gaining at least a credit average, may be invited to continue on to Computer Science Honours. Computer Science Honours is designed to give students a deeper understanding of some core subjects of computer science and to introduce them to some other important application areas not covered in third year. Students completing Computer Science Honours may be allowed to continue to postgraduate studies ( MSc and/or PhD).
Half of Computer Science Honours is in the form of four subjects that are specified by the department each year, and the other half is supervised research in the subject CP4060.
